Private Legend of Suva

This private, scenic tour allows you to experience many of the highlights Suva is known for. View the Parliament House, Government building and drive through to Nausori town. See other areas of interest such as Fiji's first sugar and rice mill, drive the Princess Road into Suva City and make a stop at the Fiji Museum for a tour and refreshment.

You will be greeted directly at the pier area by your local, knowledgeable and friendly representative and soon will be on your way for a day full of new adventures and exploration on this private tour option. Begin with a drive through Nasese to the old Parliament House, built in the 1930's, this art deco style building is decorated with beautiful artwork throughout.

Pass by the University of the South Pacific as you make your way through the scenic town of Nausori. Visit Fiji's first sugar and rice mill, built in 1872 following the collapse of the cotton industry. While in Nausori, check out many exotic fruits and vegetables at the local market.

Next up is a scenic drive along Princess Road to Suva City. Take a photo of the statue of Fiji statesman and WWI hero Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna in front of the government buildings after a scenic drive through Suva City.

Before your day is over, stop at the Fiji Museum. The museum showcases the diverse history of Fiji from the sailing expeditions to current day modern history. Be sure to snap a photo of the 13 meter double hulled canoe. Enjoy a relaxing walk through a myriad of trees at Thurston Gardens. Created on the grounds where the original village of Suva once stood, these gardens contain 20 types of ornamental trees and 17 types of palms. Finish your day with a refreshing light lunch at Kanu's - Museum themed Restaurant.
