Recommended Dress We recommend wearing a bathing suit under lightweight clothing and water-shoes or sport type sandals with a back-strap (like Tevas). Flip-flops, dress sandals, or street shoes are not permitted. Participants who do not have the proper footwear will be required to rent shoes for a nominal fee. A towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and cash for purchases is suggested.
Restrictions The minimum age to participate is 16 years of age, and guests must present proof of age. All participants must be good swimmers. Non-swimmers will not be permitted to attend the tour. This tour is not wheelchair, scooter, or walker accessible, and cannot accommodate guests with mobility issues, or those who have difficulty walking or standing. Participants must fit comfortably in one seat on the transport vehicle, and be able to stand, walk, and board the bus completely unassisted by staff or friends/family. Guests must be able to easily navigate uneven terrain, sandy areas, inclines, downward slopes, and steps. Participants must be free of respiratory and heart problems. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and guests with back or neck injuries, as the roads are bumpy in many areas. Participants who do not have the proper footwear will be required to rent shoes for a nominal fee.

River Tubing & Cabarete Beach

Looking for a rejuvenating and relaxing day under the beautiful sun? This is it. Drift down a slow moving river in a custom tube, then relax at the pristine Cabarete-Kite beach. Your professional guide provides fun facts and points out areas of interest throughout the tour, ensuring you leave with fascinating tidbits of information; and a great tan!

Begin your excursion by boarding a comfortable, air-conditioned van or mini-bus for a fully-narrated drive that will take you through Puerto Plata and Sosua to Cabarete. If need be, use the nearby facilities. Head to the river to receive your tubing equipment, and get ready to unwind.

Begin your relaxing lazy river float. As you easily paddle or drift along the river, your knowledgeable guide will point out notable areas of interest. After the tube ride is over, dry off and enjoy a short drive to Cabarete-Kite beach. Sunbathe, people-watch, visit a trendy bar or cafe, shop for souvenirs, or simply sit back and enjoy the sight of various colorful kites dotting the sky. Enjoy a comfortable drive back to the port to end the tour.
