Begin with a visit to the colorful Suva Municipal Market, where local vendors offer an array of fresh fruits, vegetables, and island products. Continue to Parliament House and the Government Buildings, where you'll gain insight into Fiji's governmental history. On weekends and public holidays, Parliament House is closed; however, you will still have the opportunity to view the historic buildings and grounds from the outside. Continue to the Fiji Museum, located within the beautiful Thurston Gardens. Explore exhibits showcasing Fiji's rich cultural heritage, archaeological discoveries, and maritime traditions.

Your journey continues with a visit to the historic Sacred Heart Cathedral, one of Suva's most recognizable religious landmarks. You will also have the opportunity to view the Old Parliament Building and stop at the State House, the official residence of Fiji's President, where you can take photos with the Presidential Guard. Enjoy a relaxing break at the iconic Grand Pacific Hotel, known as the "Grand Old Lady of the Pacific." Here, you will enjoy refreshments and a brief tour of this historic waterfront property that has welcomed royalty, dignitaries, and notable visitors for more than a century.

Continue along Nasese Road, taking in views of Suva Harbour while passing landmarks such as the University of the South Pacific, Colonial War Memorial Hospital, Fiji National University, and the Australian Embassy.
