Chilkoot Wilderness and Wildlife Viewing from Haines

Our cruise was diverted from Skagway to Haines. Once we saw the smaller town, we were very glad. It seemed less "touristy" and more authentic. Our guide on the Chilkoot Wilderness and Wildlife Viewing tour was a delightful local man that was not only knowledgeable, but obviously involved in and proud of his community. We were fortunate to see lots of Eagles, seals and even a Mama bear with 4 cubs at the river. It was a wonderful experience!
