Juneau Highlights

The scenery was great and history of the city was interested.

Our guide was friendly and very knowledgable, tour was very well planned...we saw/toured the beauty of the area, rainforest park, a wonderful eagles nest, fabulous views of the glacier, the salmon hatchery, fields and fields of wonderful wildflowers and majestic mountains and a wonderful museum...OMG such beauty. Thank You Zack...also loved the fish tacos...thanks for the coupon. Lynn and Wayne

It was a great tour, there was time to spend at the museum, fish hatchery and aquarium, see rebounded ground from the Mendenhall Glacier, and visit the Glacier Gardens. Had a great driver who explained what we were seeing and where we were going.

Small group. 4 Liked the museum, the gardens, and the fishery. Guide gave a good explanation of sights. Interesting to learn about the extreme change in tides. Had a nice salmon dinner at one of the restaurants. Surprised to learn how small the capital was.

My husband and I enjoyed this excursion and learned much about Juneau and what it's known for.

The tour begins as you travel through city streets and learn about the history of Juneau. You will see various landmarks. The views are amazing. The Alaska State Museum visit was one of my best experiences in a museum. The museum has Science on a Sphere®, or “SOS.” This is a display system that uses computers, video projectors, and a six foot diameter sphere to create an animated globe. The museum staff stopped to demo SOS for us. We could see when Hurricane Florence started and watch it's progress across the water and over the states. As the morning moved on, we visited Macaulay Hatchery. Our guide was amazing. We loved her knowledge of the hatchery as we walked through. Our stop at the 50-acre Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure was fun and awe-inspiring. At the end of your tour, you might get a coupon for "Deckhand Dave's". Eat there whether or not you have a coupon. They have fresh, locally caught food and a super beer selection.

Great Tour. Directors went out of their way to accommodate as our itinerary changed due to high winds. They made adjustments so we could do the tour.

My son in law and I enjoyed this tour very much. It had a wonderful variety of experiences to give us a fine picture of Juneau and its surroundings. The museum displays were fantastic, the fish hatchery was informational and very well explained, the city tour was well done. The tour driver was pleasant and informed as was the tour guide.

I really enjoyed the visit to the Juneau Museum. I would have spent less time at the fish hatchery.

Juneau Highligts city Tour

Our tour guide Liz was very knowledgeable and a great person. We loved the places she took us and learned so much about Alaska talking with her. We would certainly recommend this tour and ask for Liz.

It was a very small, intimate tour. We loved the upside down gardens. They were truly creative and beautiful even in the rain! We were very impressed with the Museum. The displays were exceptionally well done, thorough, attractive, and very interesting.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Very organized. It took us by many points of interest which we visited more extensively later.
