Tongass National Forest Scenic Lake Hike

Teague was fantastic, knowledgeable, kind, extremely informative, professional and friendly. His vast knowledge on Alaska, the trail and the rain forest kept us interested and wanting to learn more. He even provided delicious mint tea at the top of the mountain! It was like hiking with a friend. Definitely book with Teague!

Teague est un très bon guide, respecté par les résidents de Ketchikan parce qu’il respecte les règles et l’environnement. Il avait tout prévu pour la randonnée, incluant les bâtons de marche. Il nous a fait visiter une magnifique forêt et nous a donné des commentaires très intéressants à ce sujet tout le long de la randonnée. Il a bien su s’ajuster à notre rythme et nos capacités.

It’s a beautiful area. Terrific hike that was a lot of fun for two 65 year olds. Learned a lot and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. 👍

This hike begins and ends at a beautiful mountain lake, where there are so many views for your camera! It’s a moderate climb for someone who is accustomed to hikes in hills and mountains. The guide is personable and knowledgeable in the old growth of the temperate rain forest, and intimately familiar with the trail. Highly recommended for those who enjoy time in the forest!!

This was our highlight of our Alaska cruise. No other hikes we had at other ports were as good as this one. And our guide was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hike. Highly recommend for those looking for a hike that's more than a walk in the woods.
