Downtown Food And Victoria City Tour

I took this tour on the last day of my 9 day Alaska cruise and it was one of my favorite outings on the whole trip. Our guide was a young lady who was very knowledgeable about the area. She was very friendly and informative as we walked from venue to venue. The food was diverse and tasty. The Korean Corn Dog was a surprise and one of the highlights of the tour. At most spots the owner or manager would come out and tell us about the establishment and the food(s) we were tasting. I can't drink wine so they gave me some delicious, local soda at the wine tasting. We also had chocolates, tacos, and cheeses with meats at different places. At the end of our tour we asked our guide for a happy hour recommendation and she had several ideas for nearby spots.

This was a great tour. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed walking around Victoria and finding the local places to eat. The only downfall was we had to return to our ship so we weren't able to go back and visit any of the shops. We will definitely do food and wine tours in other cities as we travel.
