Two Hour Nature Safari

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our vehicle climbed a steep, winding road. At the top we had an excellent overlook, where we saw our ship at anchor. We then proceeded to visit a marine reserve -- a private farm -- that rescues Blue Penguins, nurses them back to health, and then releases them into the wild. The guide that we had is part of the family that operates the reserve, and she was passionate about her work. We saw lots of penguins in their burrows, where they raise their chicks. I am very glad that we took this tour.
