Koala Sanctuary and Brisbane River Cruise

The whole trip was excellent. Those koalas are the most adorable creatures on earth. So glad I saw them. The boat ride was lovely. Trip well worth the money.

It was never a worry that we wouldn't get our refund. So appreciate working with Shore Excursions!

Great river cruise narration and Koala Sanctuary.
July 09, 2018
Allow yourself extra time to clear immigration to get off the ship. The river cruise narration to the Koala Sanctuary was fabulous. The guide was informative and humorous. Food and drink may be purchased on the boat at a reasonable price. We were given plenty of time to check out the Koala Sanctuary leisurely and at an enjoyable pace.

Catching up
May 28, 2018
Because our ship arrived late, we missed the beginning of the tour but every effort was made to help us catch up with the group. We enjoyed the site & the native Australian animals & recommend the tour to future visitors.

Enjoyed but timing issues
July 22, 2017
island it was magnificent no issues loved the animals beautiful problem is Excursion time ending at 3:30 with last shuttle to ship 3:45-missed it took taxi. the taxi took us to wrong port even though we gave them the correct pier address and location he said this is where all the ships go I said that's not our ship we dont have a water slide on our ship ours was the sun princess oh well then you must be across the bridge reminded him the dock address i had given we got to our ship $75 later I think we need to make sure when we have these types of excursions we have the time to get back to the shulttle. took 45 minutes for the shuttle to get us to town with15 - 20 min walk it was going down the street as we climbed the steps to the stop. At the ship they were still unloading the shuttle when we arrived and we were detoured because of the last because of the driver of the taxi so timing is an issue with making sure to get back to the ship timely so we're not left behind

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
April 18, 2017
We were very happy with this excursion. It was well organized and managed. It was equal to the cruise excursion for over half the price. A good value for the price. I highly recommend this trip. We had plenty of time to return to the ship and saw more on the river cruise then you would see on the bus.

I am in Love!
April 13, 2017
Ok-I knew I would "enjoy" the sanctuary, but once I held my first Koala and he looked at me..well,I was in LOVE with a Koala. This place is the best-they save animals and give them so much love-Please put this place as your number ONE visit spot!

A Trip To Remember
February 12, 2014
My husband and I took this tour on 11/02/2013. We had an absolutely wonderful day. The cruise down the river to the preserve was not only relaxing; but, interesting as you see many beautiful homes. When we went, all of the Jacaranda trees were in bloom. The preserve was delightful. You can actually hold a Koala bear. This is one of the few places where you can do this. You can feed the kangaroos. They will eat out of your hand and they will let you pet them. We highly recommend this tour.
