Cultural Museum, Island Sightseeing with Optional Beach Drop Off

We had a great tour guide! She was very informative and was eager to answer any questions we had. She pointed out the flamingos that were flying about the salt flats which she said is a little unusual to see that time of the day. She pulled over for the wild donkeys and other unique things on the island. We highly recommend this tour because we learned a lot from her. It is a very beautiful place and can’t wait to go back soon. Don’t pass this excursion by.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us great information. The tour bus was clean and the driver was friendly. We received information on the Sea Salt flats on how the salt is produced. The information about the local culture and how the people used to live at the museum was great.

Our guide was very informative about the Island and made additional stops at interesting places. She was able to answer questions about the island and took pride in telling us about her country.

The driver/guide introduced the slave history of the island and present you the major highlights of the island.

The tour guide was amazing and had plenty of information to fill our minds with. I really enjoyed that he allowed us to get out at each location and take pictures. The ride he gave us fun facts and history about the island, which was cool to hear. The optional beach drop off was 100% worth it. We rented snorkeling gear and saw so many different kinds of fish, it was beautiful.

It was easy to find the tour reps when we arrived at the port. There was not too much waiting around before we left, and we were taken on a trip around Bonaire viewing the salt production area, the various viewpoints and the cultural museum. Our guide was friendly and informative, and on arrival back at the cruise port they took us a local beach, and best of all came back at a pre arranged time to return us to the cruise ship. A thoroughly enjoyable excursion which I would highly recommend.

The tour guide was informative and fabulous. We started off in the Salt Flats, where we got a rock salt sample to take home. Then onto the slave huts, which were very small for the number of people that slept in each one. Then onto 1000 steps, which was absolutely beautiful. Then onto Rincon and the cultural museum, which was really just a small house with appointments from back in the day. Then onto (the highlight for me) Goto lake, and more flamingos than I have ever seen before. I did not opt to go to the beach, which was a little bit of a hike from the bus stop. Then past all the hotels and restaurants along the waterfront in Kralendijik.
