Altun-Ha and Jeep Adventure

This was a great tour from start to finish. It was ideal for us since some of us were seeing Mayan ruins for the first time and some wanted to drive in the jungle. This was perfect for us. If you are really interested in Mayan ruins there are better choices at this port, but this was perfect for the first timers. Our guide Gabriel was friendly and helpful all though the tour. He was patient with the kids driving (more so than me LOL). Lastly, lunch was really nice in their covered area. I would recommend this tour for the those who like the variety of things on this tour. It was great.

We had a group of 4 people, and the guide was very knowledgeable on anything we asked him. Our ship was late arriving to port but the tour was adapted so that we made it back to port on time. Bring a snack as you don't eat lunch until the very end

FAVORITE tour of all we did! Roberto was the best guide, and we had a private tour. My husband and I went in a minivan to the ruins and got there ahead of the cruise tour. We had the place to ourselves. Roberto was very knowledgeable about Mayan foods and herbs. Ask about allspice leaves. Leaving, the tour busses were just arriving! Awesome!Next: jeep jungle tour. It was not where the tour busses take cruise people! Then we saw a cave, way up high that we got to climb to on an aluminum ladder. (I am 66 and am a walker, and had no problem doing this!) It was a dry cave with stalactites and stalagmites, some small insect bats and some real Mayan pottery relics! We felt like real explorers! Then we went to his private family property for lunch, where family prepared an authentic meal for us under a hand-made hut near a local river. Definitely not a "run of the mill" adventure! We got back to port in plenty of time to catch our boat back to our ship! What a great day! Worth the price!

This was a great day!! We got to see all of Belize which I really loved about it. I wanted to see more than just the port gift shops and 1 over crowded beach. In this you get to see the Belize rainforest, caves that Mayans used and still have some artifacts inside. And then of course you get to your the Mayan site. Our Tour Guide was GREAT! Roberto was a great guide, so much knowledge and very friendly. The Jeep’s were in good condition and everyone had their own jeep for their group. Then you get to visit this village near the jungle where they feed you a traditional Belize lunch. The food was very good and the area where we ate was beautiful. Thank you Roberto, you are very good at your profession.

Overall, experience was AMAZING!! Huge props to Robbie and the rest of the staff! Loved that the visit to the pyramids did not drag on, and we had lots of opportunities to take pictures. Robbie was very informative and super kind. Authentic Belizean cuisine was some of the best food we had on our entire cruise! Overall definitely worth the price! Highly recommend

So glad we went with this excursion for our cruise. We were a large group of 20 so we had two guides, Robby and Gabriel, and they were both amazing. They had such vast knowledge on Belize, its history, anything you’d need to know. They had water and snacks for us all day which was appreciated, and the highlight was getting to have a home cooked meal at the farm at the end of the day, which was delicious! This is a family run business and you can see the love they put into it, and we definitely felt part of the family by the end of the day. If I had to sum it up, it was a snapshot of Belize in a day. I’d highly recommend them.

We had a great time on the tour. The guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. My kids (7 and 10) loved it as well. The ruins were breathtaking, the jeeps were fun to drive, and the cave was really cool. We also liked the lunch they provided at the end. Would definitely book a tour with them again and highly recommend it!

This was SUCH a great experience and our guide made the trip even better! We would highly recommend this to anyone considering it.

We were greeted by Robby and Gabriel at the terminal gate. They were amazing tour guides! They never rushed us but kept us on time. Showed us everything and always gave us great explanations. The Jeep’s and the jungle Ride was so much fun!! They treated us like family (a group of 20) ! We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for an amazing day!

Gabriel & Roberto were amazing tour guides and so knowledgeable! They took us to the Ruins and then to a spot where all the jeeps were that we got to drive ourselves. Halfway through the jungle we stopped and entered an unbelievable cave with bats! From there we had an amazing authentic Belize lunch with some fresh coconuts! They treated us as if we were their own family and I would definitely do this again!!! Must see for sure! Thank you for an amazing experience I will always remember!!

This tour was incredible. It was just the guild and 3 in my family. After meeting out guide we got into a mini van and headed to the Ruins. On the drive our guide told us about the people, history, industry and wats of Belize. When we arrived at the ruins there was only 1 other guide with 2 people. As we finished the tour busses arrived. We then drove to meet up with the the Jeeps. The guide led and we drove. The Rainforest was tons of fun and we explored a cave. Lunch at the farm was so delicious. I would recommend this Excursion over the cruise one anytime. Booking this way gives you a very personal experience.
