This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Under the waves is another world. The guide was the best, it wasn't too complicated and everything went pretty smoothly. My guide showed me interesting underwater features and creatures. It was surreal.. Thank-You!

Fabulous Dive Experience in Chankanaab Cozumel

This is my second time doing this dive with ShoreExcursionsGroup. This dive was even better than the last one! My guide, Juan, was knowledgable and took his time pointing things out. We saw lobster, rays, lots of fish, and a large octopus! We also went inside a couple of caves. All in all, this is a terrific dive!

Great service, good english. Laid back and comfortable instruction for those in the group who had never scuba dived and were a little apprehensive. Mid-dive the guide could see I was having issues with my mask and he helped fix it right away without being asked. The photos are awesome too. Would definitely repeat.

Worth It

My husband & I took our 3 teenagers on this excursion (ages 21, 18, 16). This was their first experience diving. After a brief but thorough training/introduction, we put our gear on & headed for the ocean. We had a real nice 30-40 minute dive. It was just the 5 of us with our instructor. The water was clear & beautiful. We saw lots of coral and fish (various sizes & colors), rays, lobster, etc. Our kids loved it! Once we were done, I was very happy to find out they had a member of their staff following us on our dive, taking photographs videos which I purchased for a reasonable price. They downloaded all of them at the time of purchase. After relaxing on the beach after our dive, we went to the fun outdoor restaurant & ate some delicious Mexican food. Such a beautiful location. Great excursion. We would go to this club again.

Excellent dive & service!

This was a great dive! The staff gave a great overview of diving for my uncertified husband, who had an awesome and safe first dive. They were very professional, and we truly appreciate their flexibility with our last minute schedule changes. We saw schools of fish, lobster, octopus, coral, a cenote cavern, and they had a photographer to capture great pics & videos of all of it!

I must say I was more pleased with this than I thought I would be. The guys at MJ's Dive shop were awesome. My wife has never dove before and Enrique made her feel super comfortable and made sure she was always taken care of. We seen plenty of fish, lobsters, eel, and some nice coral formations. The cavern was cool, too. I actually ended up buying a second tank and they took me to see the dolphins, which was awesome! This also will include a day pass at the park which includes access to to beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, swimming, a few shops, and restaurants. This was a very impressive place. I would definitely recommend this for noncertified divers. It's not a deep dive and the dive masters will take great care of you. Bonus for the guy who followed us with a gopro and took some great shots of our dive. Very reasonable price for the photos/videos at the the end. 2 THUMBS UP!

Chankanaab was amazing and I definitely recommend going. There is a lot to do and see and is close to the cruise port. The scuba diving was amazing, we saw a sea turtle and swam through caves! Theres not too much reef life but there are still fish and statues and some coral. There arent really any beach access points, instead there are stairs to rocky areas but the water is nice! I would not recommend this for people who are not certified divers.

Great One Tank Dive!

Was a great dive! The master diver went with us and pointed out all kinds of things we otherwise might have missed! We saw octopus, lobster, he killed a lion fish and fed it to an eel (which was pretty awesome), they have two different statues under the water, then we finished by going thru a spring fed cavern! We pretty much saw it all in the one dive not much need for a second tank.
