Very enjoyable and informative tour. Bring a walking stick if you don’t like walking on steps and uneven ground, but certainly NOT a must. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was great. She spoke well, provided lots of information, and was very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. For those of you who have motion sickness, the car ride is a never ending roller coaster. However, the guide was knowledgeable enough to provide a natural remedy for the motion sickness on the spot.

The tour to Emerald pool was beautiful and the guide was quite informative along the way. It is quite a long walk down hill all the way and the trip back up many uneven stairs could be difficult for some.

Our tour of Dominica was very well done. We were a group of seven passengers from our ship, with two very pleasant local guides who were knowledgeable about the island. We were all asking them a lot of questions on a wide range of topics, from types of trees to local politics. The tour took a little longer than scheduled, but we saw a lot and learned a lot. Recommended.

Our group of six enjoyed our tour! The winding roads were something, and we enjoyed Trafalgar Falls and the Emerald Pool area. Very knowledgeable guide, and we learned a lot of information. Although still recovering from the hurricane damage, the people were welcoming and happy to have us on their beautiful island!

This was better than we expected, since this island is one on our itinerary that is still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Maria. Half of the resorts and hotels on the island are still not operational. We were driven through beautiful scenery and stopped at Emerald Pool (which also had a waterfall) and at the astoundingly beautiful Trafalgar Falls. Both guides (one was the driver) were very helpful, guiding one person with mobility issues up some challenging steps to see the falls. They also knew a lot about plants, animals, and history of the island.

Tour was very good. Excellent driver Spoony and our tour guide was wonderful. She is a very experienced guide and full of fun. The hiking is as described they are active and great scenery. Lots of photo opportunities.

We loved touring this beautiful island with Adie he was kind and interesting went out of his way to give us a great memorable day ask him about his goat !!:) lovely sightseeing

We really enjoyed this tour, of all the tours we booked. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and a good driver. We appreciated being in a small group to explore the island. One point that wasn't made clear, and I wish I had known, is that there are change rooms available for the dip in the pool at the Emerald Falls. We passed on wearing bathing suits as we didn't want to sit in wet suits on the way back to the ship. We would have enjoyed going in the water.

we booked 3 tours through Shore Excisions for the 7 night Caribbean departed from San Juan. This one turned out to be the best we had. The tour guide is a young local gentleman who is very knowledgeable for local and very polite. The weather was not perfect, we had shower, thunder, drizzling through out of the day, but all people in the group enjoyed the trip very much. The two water falls are very beautiful.

Spices stop- so clean n friendly. Waterfall stop- so refreshing. Passion Fruit juice srop- so yummy!

This wound up being one of the best things we did this trip. The tour guide was young and energetic, but was very knowledgeable. The area is just beautiful and I loved the walk to Emerald Pool. I was a little concerned about the walk due to previous comments, but had no problem. The tour guide could have given more clear instructions at times. Some of us could not hear them. When we asked for him to repeat them, he got kind of annoyed. In one case, he said that he needed to take care of something. We got separated from him and did not know what was going on since we did not hear his instructions. But I would definitely do this tour again.

Had a wonderful time with our guide. He was knowledgeable and fun to be with. Our only problem was hooking up. Be more specific: Immediately at the Windstar exit tent NOT the pier

We took this trip on Boxing day 2016 - it was fabulous, the tour guide was wonderful.and brought the island to life. The waterfalls and emerald pool were great to see, and we experienced real rain in the rainforest! It was also a great experience for another reason, I got down on one knee and she said yes!

This was a great tour with a guide who knew the area and the flora and fauna of the area. He explained things with a personal view--not a scripted explanation and answered all questions when asked. He kept track of everyone and showed us some beautiful areas. He even showed us where we could get some good local food and introduced us to some of his family (his mother working in her shop).

This was a fantastic tour of Dominica. The falls were beautiful but required a lot of climbing so you really need to be in fairly good condition to do this tour. The gardens were beautiful and the Emerald pool was beautiful so you have to remember it is in the RAIN forest so it might not always be Emerald in color. Our guide was very good. He answered all of our questions and watched for our safety. The end of the tour was beautiful. We ended on a high cliff that overlooked the city and the port and we had beautiful pictures of our ship the Summit.

A very fulfilling excursion

Nice variety to do or not to do. I could do a lot more than my wife. More initiative and engagement by guide would have been nice. Rick was young and learning.

This tour hit 2 beautiful natural wonders of Dominica in the brief period of time that we had on the island. It was a bit rushed at the sites because we hit a delay due to road construction on the drive there but that was no fault of the tour company. They did a good job making sure we returned to the cruise port on time.

Driver and guide were great. Very friendly and was able to answer all questions in detail.
