Dunn's River Falls and Bamboo Rafting on the White River

Dunn's River Falls was INCREDIBLE - you do NEED to keep both hands free to hold on (TIGHTLY!) to the people next to you (only at certain spots, not the entire time) so you don't slip while hiking over the rocks (wear water shoes!) and rushing water!! My river falls tour (Tami was the bomb!) started at 10:50am and lasted until 12:40pm (have some cash on you to tip your guide and photographer)...surprised my driver how long it took! Then to be followed up by a relaxing ride on a bamboo raft on the White River was PERFECT!! Hyron, my raft guide, had the most beautiful raft and offered to take photos of me and even let me steer the raft for a bit with a bamboo stick --- have some cash on you to buy a drink or crafts along the White River...and tip your raft guide of course! Seriously, BEST day of my life...you won't regret this combo!! Plus I had the best conversation with my driver, Sharldon, who got me back on my cruise ship safely with plenty of time to spare!

We booked while making a port call in Falmouth on a Disney Cruise. We did the Dunn's River Falls climb and a raft ride down the White River. Shawn was the driver, and Denise was the tour guide. She was excellent at pointing out local landmarks, giving bits of insight about local customs and people also occasionally sang a bit. (She was very good!) It was fun and educational. She made everyone in our group feel like we were all family. I will book it again if I ever get back that way, and you'll be glad you did.
