Beyond excellent
January 08, 2018
This tour was what they said it would be and more. We had a group of 12 and everyone had a wonderful time. You really do get a taste of Havana. We went to historical sights, schools, government buildings, a restaurant, amazing live music bars, military sights, had a little time to shop. We drove along the seawall in a convertible, saw old Havana and what they are building as new. The guide was one of the best we have ever had on our many tours. There is a lot of walking. They could drop the rum museum tour, that was nothing special and kind of a lot of walking and waiting for it. I would do this tour again as there is so much more to learn.

Excellent review of A Taste of Havana
December 20, 2017
This tour was excellent. I am a Travel Advisor and am putting together a group back to Havana next November, and will definitely book them on this same tour, plus another, as the Azamara cruise ship will be in port one more day than in 2017.
I thank your whole team, and look forward to receiving my coupon

A Great Way to Experience Cuba
December 18, 2017
The local tour guides are excellent ambassadors for Cuba. Learn the history and culture as you walk around the city enjoying all the delicious treats that Cuba has to offer. A little crowded at the end when both tour groups met up at the final stop. Other than this, the excursion was great.

This is a "Drinking" Tasting Tour!
September 27, 2017
Great way to experience Havana and excellent value for the money. Our tour started at 11am which was good. We walked old Havana. We had about 7 drinks included in the tour and I was definitely tipsy. Bring your own water as the rum and beer is free flowing! We had 1 stop for a snack and 1 stop for lunch which was delicious. Lunch is at a government run restaurant and we stayed there a bit too long. As a result we missed the rum museum at the end, but that is OK. I would not have been able to drink it anyway. The group was small, we had 8 and the maximum number they have is 10. That means when it's time for the ride in the classic cars, it will have 3-4 people in a car depnding on group size. Our guide was excellent, and very informative. She was very open about the history, culture, and current issues in the country. Beautiful way to experience Old Havana, definitely recommend!

The Taste of Havana was one of my favorite tours ever. Our tour guide was exceptional and easy to understand. Really loved the old car tour close to the end of the taste tour.

Missed some things
August 30, 2017
Our tour was changed fro 9:00am to 11:00am. We were still standing around at 11:30 but we're assured we would get to do the complete tour. That was not the case! We skipped the water viewing, but went to a historic fort. The meal took forever and there was no description of the food or information given as to the culture surrounding the dishes or the drinks. The beer was warm and was a stop on the street. We did have churros but waited in line for 30 minutes for this street vendor food.
We were too late to visit the rum and cigar part of our tour- of course! We began 2 1/2 late!
Our guide was super nice but I would not call this a culinary tour. Lots of history( that's fine) but museum and Church and other things that were not what we "signed up for". Wish we could have had the tour that was described. We had 9 adult family members.

Amazing! One of the best guided tours!
August 21, 2017
Highly recommended! Our tour guide, Zulia, was an expert in the City of Havana and certainly made the tour even more informative. It started with a Cuban coffee, then as the tour progressed, a Cuban beer, a Mojito and Daquiri where Hemingway once drank, and a lunch at a private restaurant that too, was amazing, and of course a very thorough afternoon of touring this amazing city. And the vintage car ride in the afternoon was a perfect ending to a great tour.

EXCELLENT tour and guide...leave your kids at home
August 17, 2017
We loved everything about this tour! Our guide was so friendly and informative! The sites, foods, and drinks were incredible! We highly recommend this tour and company! So much better than the ships' excursions! ***Please note: Our small group had a handful of small children with their family. They were bored and couldn't enjoy the alcohol/coffee/cigar stops thus wandering off and acting up. Please do everyone a favor and don't bring your children! They will be bored, you will be distracted, and you will annoy your fellow touring guests who have paid for this once in a lifetime experience! ***

Totally worth it!
July 04, 2017
Never having travelled to Cuba before, we were hesitant to explore by ourselves. This offered a cheaper version to what the ship offered, and with more things to do. The group was small, which meant that we heard everything the guide said, and we were able to move along fairly quickly. Our guide, Zulia, was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and patient with the many questions we had. I fully recommend people to give this excursion and company a try.
