RIU Resort Day Pass

RIU is beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The guarded entry and check in process made us feel safe and we appreciated the fact that vendors had to keep a certain distance out in the water, and are not allowed to heckle you. There were 4 small vendor boats in the water while we were there, and all were respectful and kept to a peaceful, laid back experience. There is plenty of seating around the pools, but also plenty of seating down by the water, if you prefer to just relax and not to be right in the middle of the music and party atmosphere. We liked that the water activities had a separate beach area as well. The buffet that was included in our day pass, surpassed our expectations, based on other beach excursions we have experienced. The food was delicious, and included a vast array of choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at RIU and plan to go back to actually stay at the hotel, sometime in the near future.
