Marley Resort Beach Day

My daughter and I enjoyed the resort. We had it all to ourselves. The beach was beautiful. The food was delicious. The staff was very welcoming. The drivers that took us to and from the resort were very kind and told us all about the island and the things we were passing to and from the resort. The only two things that would have made it better was to have jets in the hot tub. Also, while we were there we didn't hear any music playing out by the pool. It would have been nice to hear some music, especially Bob Marley music. Thank you!

What a relaxing day! Only 3 of us were on this excursion. When we got to the resort it was beautiful!! There was just one room with Bob Marleys pictures, memorabilia, and a tv playing videos and some history but it was still amazing to see. The beach was EMPTY! So peaceful and the pools were nice, there is not a hot tub. It’s more like a room temperature tub. But it wasn’t needed anyway. The food we got was delicious but small portions. The drinks at the bar were good. Drink prices are not too bad either. We would totally do this again. It’s not for adventurous people. It’s a relaxing day.

My husband and I and one other person were the only people on this excursion. Our Tour guide Keilah was super friendly and informative. There was a ten minute walk to where she parked. She pointed out historical buildings and told their history. On arrival there was a quick introduction to where everything was and instructions for lunch and pick up time. Only one room was dedicated to Bob Marley's history. Music occasionally played on the pool deck. Drinks were good $7-15 for alcohol. Food was delicious! we had quesadilla and rum coconut wings .The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was because there wasn't any live music and even the piped in music was on and off. The beach and pools were practically our own. The hot tub is not a jetted tub. It was the same temp of the pools. We did love the fact we could lounge on Bob Marleys couch and watch his videos and feel the calm of his songs and legacy. The drop off was at the pier so that was easy to get back to our ship on time. LOVED IT!

From the time we touchdown on the port of Nassau , our tour guide Ms. Keiliah(if I'm spelling it right) face us the most chill intimate tour of island which she very knowledgeable and charming to get to know her life on the island. Once we got to the resort, it was like a heavenly moment of peace, love, privacy to walk around take pics of the used home of Bob Marley which was still in good condition. Sitting on the beach(private at that) with no sound but waves from the clear to almost put me to sleep. The lunch they served us phenomenal as well which made the whole day complete. No worries here except for having to come back and stay for longer time.

My wife and I had a great time on this excursion. For the majority of the day, we had the resort pretty much all to ourselves (although I don't know if this is typical, we were there in August). The staff were very friendly, and the food offered for lunch was great too. Overall, it was very relaxing and was an excellent experience.

The transportation was on time and the driver pointed out points of interest on the ride. The tour was okay, but the gift shop was a disappointment. Only had a handful of items. The beach was beautiful and drinks at the bar were good. My granddaughters enjoyed our time there.

This was the best part of our trip! A fairly secluded location, and a nice ride from the port, away from all the commercial areas. Beautiful beach, small bar and cafe on site, with lunch and a drink included. Only one other couple there at the same time as us, so quiet and relaxing. There is a spa on site as well if you want to take advantage of that. Pools and hot tub were not functioning when we were there (being cleaned), but who needs it with the beautiful beach? Towels were provided, and the staff took chairs down to the beach for us. I highly recommend this trip if you are looking for some quiet beach time, food and alcohol, and/or spa pampering.

This was definitely the highlight of our recent trip to the Bahamas. We were joined by one other couple and had the entire place to ourselves until later in the afternoon when a family came. The "resort" is small and very casual, and though the pools were being cleaned and not usable for us, we were right on a beautiful beach. There is a bar and a cafe, and a sandwich and drink (we both opted for water) is included. We enjoyed some tropical drinks and a very peaceful day. It was a short ride from the cruise port, and our driver gave us a tour of the highlights along the way. Once you are away from the commercial area of the port, the island is beautiful. There is also a spa onsite, at the front of the property, but we didn't realize that until we were getting ready to leave. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a beautiful beach, no crowds, and food and drink just steps away.

Ours was a small tour as others have stated; two couples total from our ship. Our guide/driver was knowledge and spoke of relevant things with tourism, commerce and local government. Once at the resort we were walked through the "resort", saw a picture room of Bob Marley and out to the private beach. We had to take their furnished chairs down to the beach. It was peaceful! Towels were furnished. The pool was not as nice as my pool at home. My wife couldn't get in as there was nothing to hold on to with her leg that was injured several years ago. The hot tub was warm but the pump wasn't on, nor could we find were to turn it on. They were short of staff so food was slow getting to us and the menu was very limited. Overall it was not worth the money.

This was the best part of our entire vacation. It was extremely relaxing. We would definitely do it again and we would recommend it to anyone who is going to Nassau. There were only a couple other people there the day we went. We were able to bath in the sun in peace, enjoying every second of our time there.

The guide met us on time and gave us nice tour information en route to the resort. There was only one other couple on the excursion, so it was as small as advertised. The resort is a complex with one separate home (that can be rented) and a hotel-like building. We did not see many other people, but perhaps in February they don't have many guests. The bar was lovely, but as my husband and I do not drink, we can't rate the bar. The food selection and quality was OK. I think we expected a bit more from the food, perhaps something more in keeping with the Caribbean or the Bahamas. I thought there would be music on the beach or at the pool area, and there was none. That was a disappointing. All in all it was a nice quiet beach day. But it was indistinguishable from any other beach day and I expected more from the Bob Marley Resort in the Bahamas.

Great pickup and ride to the Resort. Resort is small but nice, it was chilly the day we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the beach nor the pool. Not a complaint, just know the pools are hot tub size to those of us from states. They do have a nice hot tub too.
