Grand Island Speedboat and Snorkel

Worth every penny! Family loved it the boat ride alone was assume. Snorkeling several spots boat captain was great. Overall A+ Will do it again

This was our favorite excursion on our trip! We love the fact it was a fast boat that got you from location to location quickly, to maximize your day.

Captain Sean and his crew mate, Laney, were fantastic. They did everything possible to be good guides and informative experts on the St. Martin area. It was especially interesting to tour the harbor in their boat and see the many wrecks from the latest hurricane. We were taken to 2 great snorkeling spots and they were very helpful getting the older and less limber folks in and out of the water. On the way back to the cruise ship he found an area of smooth ocean and opened it up. With 3 300 hp Mercurys, it was truly exhilarating. I would not only recommend this to anyone but would do it again myself next time we're in St. Martin. Thanks Capt. Sean and Laney.

The speedboat was a very expensive, fancy speedboat. They offered complimentary water, pop, select alcoholic drinks (pretty good selection), and even sandwiches for lunch which definitely saved us money! We made several stops around the island at amazing spots (beautiful secluded beaches that you could only get to via boat, and right under an airplane as it landed, just to name a few), the views going around the island were amazing, and the 2 people on the boat leading the tour were extremely friendly. Overall, highly recommend this tour, my wife and I absolutely loved it.

Excursion was great! however swimming with turtles we only saw one and the snorkeling there not much to see.

I looked at this excursion many times before booking because there weren’t any reviews on this site until a glowing review showed up in late January. Sean and “G” were great tour guides; knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and fun. The walk to the marina was quick and easy. The boat was beautiful and fast (Sean made sure everyone was feeling ok before opening up the throttle). At 6 hours this was the longest excursion we’ve ever taken and it was packed with island sights, beautiful water, snorkeling, big yachts, iguanas, plane flyovers and more. For lunch we had sandwiches with fresh French baguettes and Dutch cheese from a local bakery. Great experience and great day that we won’t forget.

A very well run excursion and an excellent way to see a lot of St. Maarten in a timely and exciting way. You can snorkel or swim at four or more stops. No doubt this excursion will provide you with many great memories. The boat is fast, smooth riding , and importantly has a canopy for sun protection. The boat ride can get a bit rough on the Atlantic ocean side of the Island however it can also be fun. The crew were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Food and many drinks are provided as part of the excursion. Please be careful about being sun burned especially on your back due to swimming and snorkeling activities.

On a 50 day cruise, this was our fav excursion. We spent the day in a nice speedboat. We toured the marina, passed by resorts and snorkeled or swam at 4 different locations. I would do this one again. Exceptional crew too!

To start off, St. Maarten is a beautiful island and has a lot to offer. The other excursions available simply did not allow you to make the most out of your limited time on the island. Our captain, Sean, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He knew everything and anything about the rich history of the island, buildings and mansions and even the yachts in the harbor. The boat was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The included lunch and beer/water was a very nice touch. We couldn't have asked for a better shore excursion and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the majority of the island, get some nice snorkeling in and soak up the sun!

We have 4 boys, ages 5-13, and this was fantastic. The excursion vs. ones offered by RC - we had ~13 in our group. The boat was new/well maintained and the snorkeling gear was also in great shape. It is a good walk from the cruise piers so we cabbed it - easy to do. They served sodas, water and beer on the boat, which was a nice addition. The crew was great. The captain was skilled and maneuvered us through fairly rough waters to Pinel Island, which we expected to miss due to the high winds, but he made it happen and remarkably comfortably. The crew was also very helpful with our youngest. Our son struggled snorkeling at one of the stops and they carefully got him in the boat and made him feel comfortable while the rest of the family enjoyed our time. The crew also had much to share about the island, its history, and the rich & famous that play there. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. It was our family's favorite from the trip.
