Perfect if you just have a day in Puerta Plata to tour. It had great stops, history, and more. Highly recommend this tour, was not rushed, well organized.

Guides were super friendly and accommodating. Treated us like members of their family. This made the most of our visit to Puerto Plata. Thank you.

The excursion was a great experience. We especially liked going atop the mount where "the Christ the Redeemer" replica is along with a botanical garden. The guide was very good, as well. It was a bit crazy at the start with a couple of other tours on our van before they were dropped off. We love the SEG Smaller Groups.

Great tour with Alex and Xander. Very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to please. They showed us several points of interest like the umbrella alley, a fort and the main church in the city's plaza. They exhibited the warm hospitality the Dominicans are noted for by giving each of us a taste of their rhum punch and stopping to buy a bunch of bananas for us to eat. Such thoughtfulness! Highly recommend this tour. If you get Alex or Xander that will be a bonus!

We quite enjoyed our excursion through Puerto Plata, the guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. It was a spectacular view from the top of the mountain with the statue of Jesus, all the way down in the cable car, which was a nice way to descend the mountain, so different than always being on a tour bus. We would highly recommend this trip.

Great excursion! We had a little trouble finding them because we were looking for Shore Excursion Group on sign, our mistake! Once we looked for the name of the tour and people wearing clothing as described to us, it was easy! There were lots of people with signs for tours of Puerto Plata, so look for the clothing as described to fine them! Then we were put on an air-conditioned bus to wait for the others and off we went for a wonderful day!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This port was the HIGHLIGHT of our cruise. We had THE BEST tour guide, WINSTON, who was very interesting & extremely knowledgeable of his country's history. The stories he shared and scenery/places he took us for photos was INCREDIBLE. This is the MOST MEMORABLE tour and experience of my lifetime. Winston was also very accommodating and compassionate with my 80 y/o mother-in-law, who could not do as much of the walking. Time well spent! EXCELLENT tour and guide staff! MUCHAS GRACIAS for showing us what a treasure your beautiful country is.

It was a longer walk than we expected to reach our departing place, but we survived. The tour guide did a great job giving us details and history and was very pleasant. The bus driver did a good job and we never doubted his driving ability. Would highly recommend!

This was one of the best excursions we had. Our guide Winston was very knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. He educated us on the history of Puerto Plata, native vegetation and the culture of local people. The tour group was small( about 10 people), so it quick and efficient getting to all the places. Mt. Isabel de Torres was beautiful with great vegetation and views. The cable car ride to the town was excellent with spectacular views of Puerto Plata, it's beaches and the ocean. Once in town we visited beautifuly Christmas decorated Plaza and Winston shared with us all it's history. We also saw a very unusual Pink street. Then we visited Fort Fellipe overlooking the ocean. On the way back Winston gave us most delicious rum punch( with refills). Overall, we have seen many different areas and were fully entertained for 4 and a half hours. Our driver, Luis was also very nice. I will highly recommend this excursion to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion in Puerto Plata.. The sights were wonderful. the history interesting. Our guide Winston and driver Luis were top notch, keeping us safe and showing the best of Puerto Plata. I would caution that there is some walking uphill, and the pickup/dropoff point is about a 10-12 minute walk.
