Athens Old and New by Bike

The tour was very nice start to finish. The bikes were in very good shape, and it turns out were e-bikes. We had never tried e-bikes but enjoyed the varying levels of assist offered. The tour leader was experienced, friendly and adaptive to the needs of the group we were in. For the few intersections with roadway traffic to be crossed, the leader kept things safe. The tour included lunch and another stop for Greek donuts. It was a good value for the cost. The couple who owned the tour business were equally nice. They explained in depth all questions about how the e-bikes worked and price ranges. Our group size was 4 riders and the leader.

I’ve been on many tours and this is by far the best one. Tour guide Alex was absolutely incredible as she was informative, fun and patient. The owner was also amazing. Great service overall. We got to see all the important monuments and stopped to have a quick lunch and doughnuts that were included. Very impressed!! Thanks guys for the great time! Love, Megan

We loved the bike tour! We were given a head set so that we could hear our tour guide. We rode around town and got to see everything. We were fed traditional Greek foods included in the cost of the tour. They arranged transportation for us to get back to port safely! If you take this tour and you are female wear capris or long shorts It will me more comfortable. Also be prepared to cross the busy streets of Athens, this tour could be nerve racking with children under 15. I would take a tour with them again though!!! Wonderful group of people!

We were met at the port by chauffeur and were taken to the tour office, where we were carefully fitted with gear, water, and electric bikes. Our tour guide took us through the streets of old Athens, we stood on Mars Hill and saw so many ancient ruins. Commentary on the points of interest was via radio/earbuds. It felt like a hop on-hop off tour, but by bike. Ended with a lunch at a local gyros restaurant, then some free time and a taxi ride back to the ship.
