Loved this tour

Very happy we picked this tour. The small group was perfect as very intimate and easy to ask questions and chat with our guide, Ricardo, who was exceptional. Plus the small vehicle as easily able to navigate streets and find places to park close by attractions. Great itinerary for a first timer to the city. Next time we would love to be able to get inside Vatican and colosseum, but perfect for nice overview of city. Highly recommend

Wonderful Rome Experience

This was an amazing tour. David was personable and knowledgeable. We were in a small van which made the experience very individual. This tour had me falling in love with Italy, specially when we visited the Four Rivers Square. When asked about lunch make sure you go with the sit down option. We knew people in another van who voted for the quick lunch and got a quick pizza. We chose the sit down lunch and I had the best cabonara ever.

This tour was excellent! Our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable and we saw much more than if we had chosen a large bus tour.
The driver navigated streets and got close to sites which allowed us more time and more stops. He also gave us a very good overview of Rome and the places we visited.
Well worth the expenditure!

Small Group Best of Rome

Our 'small group' single tour guide/driver was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and always prepared where and when we should best be. We never felt rushed yet saw way more than expected.

There were eight of us. We were picked up at our cruise ship dock by Fabio. The van was very comfortable and we loved the fact that he wore a headset. Those of us in the third seat could hear him! He knew all of the back streets of Rome and we literally saw all of the Rome highlights. Fabio was well versed on Roman history which was wonderful! He made reservations for us for lunch which we appreciated. Could not have asked for a better driver and guide. Highly recommend!

Out tour guide Claudio gave us an awesome experience on our Small Group Best of Rome tour. He was so personable and took the time to explain many little details to us. He made several recommendations for the time we had on our own including lunch, and everything he suggested turned out great! We couldn't be more pleased with our tour of Rome with Claudio.

Great Tour Around Rome

We had a great tour. Our driver, Andrea was outstanding. He listened to what our top requests were and then made sure we were able to see that plus some hidden gems that he recommended. We asked for a recommendation for lunch, and this turned out to be the highlight of our tour. We had a fabulous Italian lunch experience with the best food, table wine, dessert, and limoncello at Dino & Toni's restaurant. We would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour with two other couples. Great personable and knowledgeable driver. Drop us off at the sites and pick us up at set times. Didn't have deal with crowded busses or long walks from bus parking lots. Comfortable MB Dasher van. Lunch at a local restaurant owned by driver father's friend and Gelato near St. Peter's cathedral. Hour and half ride from cruise ship to Rome. Ship to ship service.

Small Group Best of Rome

We booked this excursion (5/9//2023) because we wanted a small group vs a large group from the Celebrity cruise ship. We were not disappointed! This was mainly because of our tour guide, Davide! He was professional and prompt at the port (both with our arrival and departure), very knowledgeable, funny, he spoke very good English (for an Italian) ;-), and was very attentive to what we saw. Because of the smaller van (vs. large bus), he was able to drive through the narrow streets and drop us off close to the sights, plus took us to some awesome viewpoints of the Colosseum and the city for photos. We were even able to get inside to see St Peter’s Basilica with his recommendation (we thought we wouldn’t have time after seeing the long line, but he convinced us to go for it - we were surprised the line went as fast as he said it would). The van was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was great! Thank you!

Wonderful guide

The guide was wonderful, with a wonderful personality and sense of humor. He took us all through Rome, showed us many beautiful sites. One of the best part was the small group size. We had a lot of individual attention. Would go on this trip again!

We had a small group of 8 people. Our driver was very professional, had great knowledge and driving skills giving us plenty of time at each stop. Saw as much ch as possible in the time given and got us back to the ship in good time.

Excellent Tour/Great Option to Cruise Line Tour

We booked Shore Excursion because the cruise line didnt post the cruises for Rome until a week before the cruise. I booked the Shore Excursions and I was very happy! First the tour is much cheaper, 2) it is much nicer to be in the smaller van than the huge cruise line tour bus, 3) the tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and 4) was much more flexible than the a cruise line tour and allowed us to skip lunch in order to spend more time at another site. Great experience!
