Best excursion of our trip

Getting picked up at the ship and very near every place we wanted to visit was priceless. Valentina spoke excellent English so we didn't have to concentrate on what she was saying and could enjoy the sights even more!

Unforgettable Tour

This is worth every penny! You will not be disappointed with this tour. Our guide and driver were amazing and so personable!! Our guide was a walking history book but soooo much Better!! She answered all our questions and we saw so many things. Our driver was the Best at maneuvering the traffic and crowded streets of Roman. He would drop us off at a location and pick us up down the street after we saw the highlights, saving us time, so we could see more. Cold water bottles and the van's AC were a big plus on the hot day. We got to see everything we wanted and were back in plenty of time before our ships cruising time. This private tour was the best of all our excursions we took because of the guide/driver. So much better than any cruise ship excursion.

Incredible Tour

Both our driver and tour guide were fantastic. We learned so much at each out stops. We saw the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Roman ruins, the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Our tickets, for each destination that required tickets, were purchased for us in advance. We skipped every line and were given a wealth of information by our guide. It was a long day as we had to drive an 1 1/2 hour each way from the port, but we saw everything we hoped to see in one day. It was fast paced to fit it all in but both the tour guide and driver really did a great job!

Private Rome Tour

This was a fantastic tour. Our driver, Mateo, did a great job navigating the windy narrow streets of Rome and was able to drop us off very close to all the attractions. Our guide, Simone, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to get us in and out of the Coliseum and Vatican without waiting in any lines. Because of him we were able to view all the attractions within our 6 hour time frame. I would recommend this private tour to anyone, it was more than worth the price.

We had a great time on the tour everything went exactly as planned. We were able to see all of the main Rome things in one full day. Guide and driver were both very good.

It's been about a month now and my family and I are still talking about this private tour! I have been teaching about Rome for over 20 years...it was amazing to see it in person. Ana, our tour guide, was knowledgable and personable. Being a teacher, I ate up every detail she shared with us. Frederico was our driver and was always there for us. He saved us miles of walking in the hot summer sun. Both Ana and Frederico worked well together. We couldn't have asked for a better team or experience!

Private Rome Tour

Not cheap, but money well spent. If you are on a cruise and going to Rome, time is limited. Most people on the cruise waited in line multiple hours just to get into either the Vatican or Coliseum and that's all they got to see. We had private entrances, access, and a wonderful guide. In one day got to see Vatican, Coliseum, and many other sites. If you only have a day, its a great way to go. Only downside is in a day, you really don't have a ton of time to spend. My guess is you could spend 1-2 days in Vatican City and not see it all. So while we got to see all the highlights with easy access, we did not have a ton of time. Still, especially with 80 year old parents who can't walk miles, the private van door to door, private access, and more made us feel like true VIP's

Amazing private tour!

Our family had a fabulous tour thanks to David and his personal tour! Highly recommend! Two teens and two adults. His tour van was clean and comfortable. He was on time and friendly. He even helped us get in a few extra sites to see. Took great care of us and we returned to the cruise ship with time to spare.

Private Rome and Vatican Tour

One of the best tour excursions we took. Our private driver, Gigi, was excellent and the tour guy, Simone, was great. I would highly recommend taking a private tour if you plan on seeing the Vatican/Sistine chapel/Vatican Museum, plus the colosseum. We couldn’t have seen so much as part of the group tour. We were able to pass through the long lines and see so much more. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Italy and the Roman Empire. It was well worth the money and highly recommend you do.

Valentina was absolutely wonderful!!! The very best tour guide ever!!!! Stop shopping around for tours, this is it!!!!!!!!! The driver was absolutely safe and kind and wonderful!!!!! Highlight of our Europe trip!!!!

Private Vatican, Coliseum, Old Rome tour

We had Francesco as our driver and
Lara as our tour guide. They were both excellent! They made Rome so
special for us! Francesco spoke with my husband about local food (husband's
choice of topic) and even stopped at a local gelato stand on the way out of Rome for us. He knew the ins and outs of the city, and seemed to have exclusive parking spots in the Vatican (even Lara was impressed). Lara was a joy as well. She is an art major, so was passionate and knowledgeable about the works of art in the Vatican. She was a wealth of knowledge for the Coliseum, as well as other sites in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc). Our teenage girls loved it as well and their interest was kept throughout the day. If we ever come back to Rome we would definitely
request both Francesco and Lara again
