Our guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kept the tour going so we could see as much as possible in the timeframe allowed. The history, stories, and sights were great. I would definitely use them again should we find our way back to Edinburgh, which we are definitely going to do!!

Mr. Usher is an excellent guide--his knowledge about Edinburgh is outstanding--and he is extremely personable! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Highly Recommended!!

Mr. Stuart Usher was our guide on this most interesting walking tour of Old Edinburgh. He was a wealth of knowledge on the city's history and imparted many nuggets I'm sure were on no other tour! I highly recommend his tour. He is a legend! Scheduling Note: This tour started at 2 PM and (unbeknownst to me) was scheduled to finish at 5 PM. The ship was anchored out and I had instructions to ""not miss"" the last coach back to the tender pier leaving downtown at 4:30 PM. So, I had to cut short my participation in Mr. Usher's excellent tour and ""sprint"" back to the pick up point. Made it with two minutes to spare -- and then the coach was 35 mins. late! (Edinburgh traffic on a Fri. afternoon.) The ship did not sail without us! -- You probably need a good four hours in Edinburgh to enjoy Mr. Usher's tour to the fullest. May depend on tides. It's a highly recommended tour. There were only three of us on this tour, so had opportunities to ask lots of questions.
