This was THE most informative excursion we were fortunate enough to book. The information was text book perfect. The patience she has with the amount of questions we all had, and the factual answers provided! This was enjoyable and the quick witted guide was just as appreciated as the ruins we were being taught about!

Bus tour to Olympia and Museum with very knowledgeable on-site tour guide. Be prepared to walk the grounds, uneven terrain. The statues within the museum are incredible.

Our tour guide was phenomenal and we really enjoyed the olive and wine tasting as well. The bus was modern, clean and well air-conditioned and the guide also kept my 11-year-old fully engaged throughout the tour.

We just returned form a recent NCL cruise from the Rome port of the Mediterranean sea with three Shore Excursions tours including the Olympic ruins. I was a bit skeptical of Shore Excursions because I was concerned about 3rd party tours from a cruise ship and not showing up on time or getting back to the ship. But I was very impressed with Shore Excursions. They were very professional and offered essentially the same tour but even better than what the ship was offering but for a much better price. Their buses were all very clean and new Mercedes Benz. The guides were all educated in the subjects and local traditions and customs and spoke English well. I will use Shore excursions again on every cruise from now on were available.

Ancient Olympia Guided Tour

Our guided tour lady not only was very knowledgeable and charismatic, but also fill us with a lot of history details that we (my wife and I) didn't know. She encouraged the tourist group participation and waited for all the persons in the group to be together to talk about those little details that you could not find in the literature unless you are a dedicated archeologist, what she was. We took six different guided tours during our trip to Italy, Grece, Croatia and Kotor but this one was the best by far.
