Amazing Views/ Boat Adventure worth it

Good excursion. We got picked up off port. Bus drove to a tender boat (don't remember how long it took to get there). Then about 45 min to get to our destination. We walked around this small little village (look). While our tourist guide talked about its amazing history. Gave an hour to do our own thing with designating meeting area. We then drove to go on a boat ride which for me was the best. Once talking about history on boat they let us swim in a secluded area where there wasn't anybody else other than our group. Also offered some cookies and wine as complementary. We then drove back to our ship.

The best excursion we’ve taken on our cruise. The boat ride was gorgeous, Taormina was stunning, and our guides made everything so easy and comfortable. Right down to the provided snacks and recommendations for local delicacies! Loved this day!

Our tour guide and our pilot were such wonderful guides. Sharing their knowledge as well as sharing personal stories. The surprise champagne fruit and cookies were specail!

This is a nice tour to take to view the area and the bay. It makes it easy to travel from the port to the bay and the town of Taormina.

Never enough time!

There is just never enough time no matter what excursions you choose...excellent crew, knowledgeable, gorgeous scenery, refreshing, inviting water...traffic issues, time constraints...would have liked this excursion more if I wasn’t on a time frame to return to a ship. Could have hung out in town and caught a cab back or something, but too rushed..not on the part of the crew..on the land issues...

Very good tour

Our tour guides were waiting for us right off the ship with a sign with my last name on it. Then we went to Taormina - leaving the port right on time (12:30pm). it’s a 50 minute drive to Taormina. (Small bus with free WiFi, water and an Italian pastry.) We had free time in Taormina until 3:30pm. This was perfect amount of time for us. We walked around Taormina (beautiful) and had lunch at Pizzeria Taormina. 4pm we are on the boat and enjoyed some beautiful sites around isola Bella. There are 3 grottos, but we only went inside the Blue Grotto. Wish there was an excursion that would explore grottos more. We were also given an opportunity to swim. The water was beautiful (you can see the bottom). So bring swimsuit and towel! The boat is a small boat - and water was choppy. (We felt fine.) When we came back on the boat to swim, they had amaretto, watermelon and pineapple waiting for us. All in all a great tour.
