Rhodes Back Country Adventure

What a delightful day we spent exploring the countryside of Rhodes. There had been torrential rains, so mudslides were abundant. Our fearless guides just improvised and wound around hills, over impossibly narrow paths all the while answering our questions and stopping for us to take photos. The food was plentiful and superb. Luckily, the local Princess rep helped our guides find us even though it was not his job since we booked apart from Princess. He directed the drivers to our dock which saved our trying to call them! We had two vehicles and 5 couples.

Disappointed this is the first review. This was an amazing and such a memorable experience. There were 6 in our group so there were two jeeps. My husband and I were in the jeep with Thanasis. He is now our favorite person. He tailored the tour completely to us. I mentioned loving the beach, so he took us to a beach. He had a genuine passion and love for Rhodes and Greek culture so he had so much knowledge to share with us. We truly fell in love with Thanasis and actually experienced separation anxiety after our 8 hour trip together haha. The stops were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the guys were the best. I could not recommend this tour more! Forget what anyone says about booking excursions outside of your crew ship, I promise you they're better, cheaper, and you'll be so much happier!
