Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle

This was long but interesting and educational day. The drive through the scenic countryside of Slovenia is beautiful and both the Castle and Cave are interesting. Unfortunately, I do not remember the young guides name but he was very good and as an aside had great video's of himself ski jumping for the Slovenian national team.

I was a bit apprehensive about using Shore Excursions group. I was on an NCL Mediterranean cruise 6/24/23-7/3 the cruise included stops in Italy, Greece, Croatia. The Rijeka stop excursions on NCL did not feature an excursion so I decided to use an outside agency-Cruise Excursions Group more than exceeded my expectations. The site is so user friendly and the guest service over the phone was great. This excursion (which takes you on an approximately 1 hour and 15 minute ride outside the city of Rijeka Croatia to Slovenia), was wonderful. We had to cross the border between the two countries, but we simply just went through a border roll booth. The breathtaking beauty of the castle is truly something to behold. The caves were so impressive as well. The whole excursion was just perfect. I have nothing but raves for this 6-7 hour tour. It was definitely one of the biggest highlights in my experience with excursions-do not hesitate to book this from this company. You will be glad you did.
