Split's Diocletian Palace

We toured Split with Boris as our guide and he was terrific! He was very knowledgeable, of course, but he was also fun to be around. We heard many of our fellow cruisers complaining about their tours in Split but we had an excellent experience! We don't know who these unhappy people toured with but it was not Boris of Shore Excursions Group. Highly recommend.

I found Croatia to be fascinating especially since I like Game of Thrones. This tour did not disappoint. We were able to walk from the cruise port (about a mile) to the meeting point at the entrance to the palace cellars. There are some steep steps to climb on this tour so beware if you have mobility issues. We saw a 3500 year old sphinx and learned about the incredible history of the Diocletian Palace. At the end of the tour, we were led to the large promenade with lots of opportunities to shop.

This was an eye opener tour. Crowded but well worth having the guide to step you through everything

Beautiful city with many interesting places, especially inside Diocletian palace. The guide Maya provided knowledgeable and interesting information.

Very informative and educational

A map to the starting point would bed helpful or a picture of the starting point. We walked by the starting point twice before we found where it was.

OUR GUIDE WAS EXCELLENT. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. HE SHARED SOME PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE ON THE SITES, AS WELL AS HIS OWN PERSONAL LIFE IN SPLIT. HE ALSO MADE GREAT SUGGESTIONS FOR ACTIVITIES WITH OUR FREE TIME. THE TOUR WAS WELL ORGANIZED & STARTED RIGHT ON TIME. IT WAS EASY TO FIND THE STARTING POINT.
