Scenic Santorini and Oia Village

Upon arriving in Santorini, we were blessed with a lovely day! We first took a water ferry with great views of the Santorini Volcano to Ormos Anthinios where we caught our tour bus. After meeting our wonderful SEG guide, we took a nice paced tour around the isle, ending up in Oia for several hours of shopping, lunch, and iconic pix of the blue domed churches & bright white homes. We continued ending up in Fira, the island's capital, for more shopping, snacks, and pix of our cruise ship and the Caldera. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the island and history, informative and adept at answering our questions, and patient with our large group, which included teens to my senior mom. After shopping, we caught our optional cable car back down to the sea. SEG provided a wonderful tour and we could not have passed for a better first day in the Greek Isles! This is traditional excursion and, though a fair amount of walking sometimes on uneven surfaces, this tour is highly recommended!

Shore Excursions provided an adequate tour to Oia and Santorini. But where they shined was the personal touch. My husband, who walks with a cane, returned with the guide to the cable cars. She was able to get him to the front of the line.
