Truly awesome. Our guide was helpful, courteous and charming. He was a native of Encenada and knew how to navigate tricky traffic to get us to La Bufadora. It was about 45 minutes from the port in a comfortable, clean minivan with views of the water and farmland. The kayaking guide provided us with quality zippered life vests and basic kayaking instructions. We followed him out as he gave us interesting highlights of the biological and geological points of interest of the area. He was clearly very passionate and knowledgeable. We navigated over a kelp bed and up to the blowhole. I can't describe it. Go see it for yourself. Unlike the spray from above, this was a force of nature you could feel with the tide you are floating upon. It was truly awesome. If you want to experience the blowhole and if you are ready to work those arms and get some adventure under your belt, I highly recommend this excursion!
