Climb aboard your Aqua Boat for an exciting day of boating, swimming and snorkeling over a shipwreck.
Our Aqua Boats are custom made. They are wider than a jet ski and perfect for touring. The Aqua Boats drive more like a comfortable touring car, whereas a jet ski drives more like a sports car. After being picked up at the pier, you will be transferred to the boat shop, approximately 30 minutes away. Here you will have a briefing and safety orientation before being assigned to your craft.
Climb aboard your Aqua Boat; it's designed for two guests. Drive your own boat while you enjoy the magnificent views of Curacao's mangroves and small islands. See one of the Dutch Queen's vacation homes, and cruise the coastal area with its coves, bays, and beaches.
For approximately two hours, you will explore and play in the beautiful pristine waters off the southern coast of Curacao. When you reach the lagoon you will see luxurious homes, yachts, and the famous Tafelberg (Table Mountain). Here, you will have a beach break for a refreshing swim.
You will also snorkel one of Curacao's best snorkeling sites: a tugboat shipwreck, located on the protected southeast side of Caracas Bay. The tugboat, which sank 25 years ago, is now home to a wide array of marine life. It is common to see colorful coral, morays, scorpion fish, lobsters, and schools of tropical fish during your approximately 40 minutes of snorkeling.
On your way back, enjoy the picturesque view of an old manorial estate and Fort Beekenburg, a well-preserved fort that was originally built in 1703 to protect the inner bay.
Note: Your Aqua Boat holds up to two people. Guests wishing to have their own Aqua Boat need to pay for two seats. If you have an underwater camera, this a great tour to bring it on.

We were upgraded to a Seadoo from the Aquaboat due to one other couple joining us. It was a nice surprise as they are faster and yep we went fast! Saw fabulous houses/mansions. Who lives in these places and where do they work!!??? We saw saw all types of wildlife. Exchanged riders at one point. Went to a small shipwreck and snorkeled. I actually snorkeled and it went well as my first time was not so memorable! The fish I saw were incredibly beautiful. It was very rough going out and coming but oh my I held on and it was scary and fun, fun, fun. Oh yes I would do it again for sure and I'm a tad over 60! Had fruit and H2O upon arrival back and a bus brought us back right to the ship area. Wonderful employees to help with whatever questions or assistance you need. Just do it.....
It was a fun excursion overall. There was a total of six people ranging in age from 21 to 50. Taking the jet skis out in the open eater was awesome and the water in the snorkeling area was so pretty. The nice thing about booking through this company vs. the cruise like was that there was only a total of eight people on our our. We loved that along with a small discounted pride. Also, the tour guides did a good job at making sure everyone stayed together. Just an issue. The pick up instructions were confusing since there are two exits from the cruise terminal and actually there was no one there to meet us. Our tour time was 12:30 and we arrived in plenty of time. We ended up having to ask a security guard to call the number in the ticket information. They said they were running late and to wait. We didn't get picked up until 1:00 which made us nervous about making it back to the ship in time. The tour guide was conscientious about the time and we made back in time, but not enough time to go into town. 2.
JetSki was clean, well maintained, easy to operate for a novice. Very maneuverable, good acceleration. Masks for snorkeling fit well, good quality. Wish we had been offered fins (were told during trip they could have been supplied if we had asked for them).
What a great excursion. The guides were so friendly and helpful and very courteous. Had a really good time and would do it again.
