This open-air theater gave the world drama as we know it and dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine, revelry, and drama. Here, you will climb up the ruins and sit in the semicircle of marble seats ringed around the stage area.

At your descent from the Acropolis, continue touring the state-of-the-art New Acropolis Museum, which has been ranked one of the top five museums in the world, and learn more about the excavations as you browse through more than 4,000 artifacts unearthed from the Acropolis.
