ATV, Zip and Waterfall

Your active day begins with an ATV ride to the spectacular and secluded El Valle beach area. After a brief orientation, you will drive through part of the town before reaching the countryside, where you will continue for approximately 20 minutes along predominantly unpaved roads. Your ATV ride will take approximately 45 minutes and may include a river crossing, depending on the river's depth.

Your first zip will be on the "Walk the Plank" zip line, considered to be the best zip line in Samana. The first run of 12 total lines, this zip line is over 1000 feet long and takes off from a pirate ship more than 350 feet up a hillside. You will fly above the Lulu Waterfall as you cover 7000 feet of line. The zip is made up of the highest-quality equipment on a three-cable zip line system. You will be fastened in with a double harness that has two cams running along two of the cables overhead. The integrated braking system allows you to have fun without worrying about reaching up to grab the cable to slow yourself down, as you have to do on some other zip lines. There are staff members on-hand to do tandem rides if you are nervous.

After your high-flying zip, you will visit the Lulu Waterfall to take a refreshing swim in the pool it forms.

Dry off and walk through the jungle for approximately 10 minutes to your waiting ATV. Ride down a bumpy unpaved road to a semi-secluded natural beach, where you can take in stunning views of the mountains diving into the ocean. Although the beach is not safe for swimming, the views of its natural beauty are not to be missed. Enjoy a typical Dominican buffet, consisting of fresh fish and chicken, served on the beach with as much local beer, soda and water as you can drink (and maybe even some local rum!).

After you've finished your lunch, you will be taken back to the pier.
