Barbados Beach Day and Turtle Swim

On this exciting Barbados excursion, you'll be spending the day at a local beach bar on Carlisle Bay on the west side of Barbados, which offers calm turquoise waters ideal for swimming, snorkeling and other water activities.

At this beautiful beach bar, you will be provided with a welcome drink, a beach chair and umbrella. The facility also has washrooms and showers available for your use. Although lunch is not included, there is a restaurant and bar where you may purchase food and additional drinks.

Your day also includes a 90 minute glass bottom boat trip right from the beach to snorkel at a shipwreck and to swim with the turtles in Carlisle Bay. While wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, turtles are seen on most trips to Carlisle Bay on this snorkeling tour. Under the surface of the sea, Carlisle Bay comes alive with vibrant tropical fish in abundance, sea horses, sea turtles, octopus, rays, and much more! This unique array of marine life is due in part to the six different ship wrecks in the water as shallow as 12 feet. The wrecks are obviously another important contributor to the popularity of Carlisle Bay. For those seeking an adventure, you will not be disappointed with the sight of these sunken treasures. The boat is equipped with bathrooms, snorkeling equipment, and a fun waterslide. Return to port is by request, with options to stay 4 or 6 hours at the beach.

Great beach day

This excursion was one of our best days. The snorkeling was good. The beach (with umbrellas and chairs) was nice for sunning and swimming. Beach bar and food trucks were nearby for lunch.

Turtle Swim

Enjoyed the snorkeling. It helps that the crew brings bread to get all the fish to come closer. The place that we were to get a drink from seemed to avoid us since our drink was included with the excursion.

turtel / shipwreck
January 24, 2020
The group on the dock was easy enough to locate and the van ride to the beach club was good. The property that they take you to was very nice and chairs were part of this package. This trip was two areas of snorkeling. The first were the turtles. The area is very busy with other tour groups and while we did see a turtle it was quick and there was only one that day. The second area was over a shipwreck. This was interesting and fish were around. The trouble with both snorkel areas was the amount of people from other tour made both areas extremely crowded. It was unavoidable but be aware hat this is not a calm easy going snorkel. The beach time was nice and the resort did have food and drinks for sale. All in all it was fun with the kids to see the turtle and the short time in the water was ok.

Barbados swim day
March 03, 2019
Crew was very accommodating. We had six in our party, one of whom had an artificial leg that couldn't get wet. Crew lifted her on board and off. Only saw one or two turtles. Ship wreck was interesting. Excursion stated there was a bar on board but there was none.

Perfect Day in Paradise!
February 19, 2019
This excursion was exactly what they advertised and was totally delightful! They met us promptly and at the location they indicated with a nice comfortable van. The driver took us to the Copacabana resort, got us oriented and introduced us to the boat crew. We had a great time swimming with the turtles and even a couple of rays, then we moved the boat just a short way to be over some sunken ships to snorkel around. The snorkel guide was great, the captain and crew were so fun and helpful. We’d only wish we could stay longer! The beach was beautiful, the water warm and clear. Perfect day!
