On this tour you will visit a variety of places including visiting Capo and Vucciria markets.
Your adventure begins as you and your guests meet your licensed local tour guide at Piazza Verdi and receive your personal foodie passport, or Passaporto del Mangione, to record your experience. Learn about the city's street food culture as well as its Arab and Jewish culinary heritage while you sample delicious treats such as potato croquettes, chickpea fritters, rice balls, soft pizza - even a spleen sandwich (depending on availability). Make your tasting official by getting your Passaporto del Mangione stamped at every spot.
While making your way through Palermo you will also see the city's art and discover its rich history with stops at elegant squares and art scenes. Enjoy a glass of local wine as you walk through the alleys and markets. And no food tour would be complete without a bite of a seasonal dessert. Your tour concludes at the Palermo Cathedral, an impressive 12th-century structure with a mixture of architectural styles due to its many renovations over the years.
If you love food, this is the tour for you! Fill up your Passaporto del Mangione as you survey Palermo's street food scene by booking your tour now.
