Best of Tenerife

Begin your Tenerife shore excursion with a comfortable, air-conditioned drive from the port to the city of La Laguna, located in a beautiful valley. This city is the former capital of Tenerife, now a historical colonial destination declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a pleasant walk down the city's main streets and buildings before continuing up the La Esperanza Pine Forest, reaching an incredible height of 2,000 meters, or 6,562 feet.

Pass through El Pinar del Monte de La Esperanza to enjoy spectacular panoramic views, then reach the peak's base. Drive up the mountain, enjoying breathtaking scenery on the way up to the cloud-cloaked peak. Observe the terrain change, suddenly becoming an amazing lunar-like landscape. Descend the mountain through the verdant Orotava Valley, safely returning to port.

Book this Tenerife shore excursion today for an incredible journey through a beautiful city and up a majestic mountain. Awesome memories await.

Please Note: Order of itinerary may vary on any given day to suit conditions.

Took bus with excellent guide to Mt Teide, a UNESCO site . Beautiful volcanic crater and unique rock formations. We drank a local beverage called “ barranquito” . The tour was excellent and not only did we enjoy the Teide National Park, but also were able to learn about the culture of the inhabitants called “ Guanches”.
