Catamaran Cruise and Snorkel
The fun begins the moment you step aboard this spacious and comfortable 50-foot sailing catamaran for no more than 50 guests. Voted one of Bermuda's Top Tours, this is a catamaran and coral reef snorkel experience you won't want to miss and certainly will never forget.
Setting out from the pier, your captain and crew will give you more information on the islands of Bermuda as you sail along the coast on this King's Wharf port tour. They will also tell you a little bit about the marine life you'll see during your snorkeling. On this Bermuda excursion, you will be served complimentary bottled water, orange juice, pineapple juice, and the famous hot home-baked cookies that are prepared fresh on board daily. Before arriving at the location, a snorkel instruction and safety talk will be given.
Once you arrive at a secluded and picturesque, shallow water cove, the crew will drop anchor. Then, it's time to visit Bermuda's other beautiful world, the waters below.
Bermuda boasts one of the world's most northerly coral reef systems. The shallow waters around the islands are host to thousands of spectacular marine creatures. You will have approximately 2 hours for snorkeling and swimming off the boat, or just relaxing on deck. Life vests swim noodles, snorkel vests, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks will also be provided for you to use during this time.
After the stop, the crew will pull anchor and will offer you a complimentary famous rum swizzle as you take a leisurely sail back to the pier. Additional swizzles can be purchased - a cash bar is also available.
To top off this great day, while you are having fun, you are also helping others. A portion of your trip's proceeds goes toward cancer research, with contributions being made to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Center. What a win-win for everyone!
Full Island Tour with Beach Stop
Meet your local, knowledgeable, certified guide upon arrival and set off for a day learning all you can about Bermuda on this full island tour. Your guide will provide a wealth of information as you begin to travel along the scenic coastline in your comfortable transportation.
Stop at the Gibb's Hill Light House, a 117-foot tall lighthouse built in 1846 of cast iron, the oldest of its kind in the world, and one of only two cast-iron lighthouses still in existence. Overlooking the South Shore and Little Sound, the lighthouse offers views of both the city of Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard.
Next, make your way to Hamilton for an approximately 30-minute stop in the Capital of Bermuda. Take the time while here to visit a few local shops, pick up a souvenir and soak up some of the charms of this beautiful capital city.
Continue to the historic town of St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be provided approximately 45-minutes here for self-exploration where you can shop, grab a bite to eat or watch Bermuda's history come to life as the St. George's Town Crier conducts an 18th century trial. This entertaining and light-hearted historical re-enactment will show how an offender was publicly punished, including the dunking of a nagging wench.
Climb back aboard your transportation and make your way to the South Shore and her beautiful beaches. Make a beach stop at one of the designated beaches for magnificent and inspiring photo opportunities as well as the chance to walk on the pinkish sand beach and feel the warm surf run through your toes.
Make your way back to the pier area and your ship to complete this well-rounded 5-hour full island tour of Bermuda.
