Ensenada Highlights
Your guided tour starts with a panoramic and scenic drive through the residential and commercial areas of the city eventually arriving at Plaza Civica. Here you will discover 12-foot-high busts of noted Mexican heroes including Miguel Hidalgo (leader of the War of Mexican Independence, 1810 to 1821), Venustiano Carranza (37th President of Mexico and leader of the Mexican Revolution, 1910 to 1920), and Benito Juarez (26th President of Mexico and an equal rights leader).
You will then visit Riviera Del Pacifico, a once-glamorous resort and casino most popular during the roaring 30s renowned for its Mexican architecture and famous clientele like Douglas Fairbanks and Al Capone. Now it is time to return to the city and enjoy a guided walking tour of downtown Ensenada.
