Los Cabos Highlights

The excitement begins as your adventure departs from the Marina of Cabo San Lucas as you make your way toward the San Jose del Cabo with its popular overlook and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. From there you will continue on to Puerto Los Cabos, a sizable resort community and the newest area of San Jose del Cabo.

In the heart of historic San Jose del Cabo you will see Plaza Mijares with its yellow and white Colonial-style city hall. You will also find the Mision San Jose del Cabo Anuiti, a 300-year-old mission established in 1730, abandoned in 1840 during the resistance, then reconstructed in 1940 using the original facade.

You will then have 1 hour to discover San Jose del Cabo at your own pace with free time to absorb the true flavor of the area. Throughout the tour, you will learn the rich history of the area while you admire breathtaking views of the desert and the ocean.

Ensenada Highlights

Your guided tour starts with a panoramic and scenic drive through the residential and commercial areas of the city eventually arriving at Plaza Civica. Here you will discover 12-foot-high busts of noted Mexican heroes including Miguel Hidalgo (leader of the War of Mexican Independence, 1810 to 1821), Venustiano Carranza (37th President of Mexico and leader of the Mexican Revolution, 1910 to 1920), and Benito Juarez (26th President of Mexico and an equal rights leader).

You will then visit Riviera Del Pacifico, a once-glamorous resort and casino most popular during the roaring 30s renowned for its Mexican architecture and famous clientele like Douglas Fairbanks and Al Capone. A complimentary margarita is waiting for you to enjoy as you take in the splendid surroundings.

Now it is time to return to the city and enjoy a guided walking tour of downtown Ensenada. It is here that you will begin to explore the local food scene, including a Baja Fish or Shrimp Taco while exploring El Mercado Negro, Ensenada's extraordinary fish, and seafood market. Have your camera ready to snap some great shots of this amazingly colorful place!

Finally, you will have the opportunity to browse and enjoy the city's central shopping district before returning to your ship.
