We met our driver at the bus terminal in town. We arrive a little early and were delighted to a beautiful park nearby. The Roma Street Parkway is a beautifully designed city park with a duck lake and amazing water features. Stop at the small café to some home make ice cream, affordable and delicious. Our driver provided excellent commentary on the area, pointing our numerous historic sites. The Sanctuary is set in a lovely woodland setting, and was beautiful and relaxing. It was nice to see how well cared for the animals were. The final stop on the trip was the top of Mt Cote for breathtaking views of the city. This was an excellent value tour.
