A good summary of the city for a 1/2 day trip. The tour leader helps make the tour.

We were on a cruise and Shore excursions group was an affordable option to a similar excursion the cruise ship had offered. it covers the highlights of the city, with stops at the castle and the church on the hill, La Popa. Our tour guide was excellent and had a great sense of humor. I took a star off because there is aggressive vendors at the tourist stops. this is not the tour group fault, and the guide did warn us before we left the bus.

Never been to Cartagena before, lots of walking on this tour but got a real flavour of the city. First time a tour guide gave me a gift. Nice sized group & comfortable bus.

The tour was a very thorough city tour. We covered the view from on high! We also got a good look at both the “old” city and the“new”city. Denny. Our guide was a wealth of information. The only stop I would omit is Emerald Store. Mandatory shopping is not welcome!
