Exclusive Puerto Vallarta City Tour

Join your certified local guide for an in-depth, five-hour exclusive tour of Puerto Vallarta by air-conditioned vehicle.

Puerto Vallarta is a curious mix of ancient culture and modern life. Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a journey from the local marina, where luxurious yachts anchor. No visit is complete without a tour of downtown Puerto Vallarta, where you will visit one of the most famous icons of the city, The Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, located right in the middle of cobblestone streets and old adobe houses with their red tile roofs.

In downtown Puerto Vallarta, explore the main plaza, the Mercado, and Malecon, where you will have an opportunity to take photos of the amazing sculptures, street artists, and a beautiful view of the ocean and the bay of Puerto Vallarta. Take a look at the craftsmanship of local artisans, from glass sculptures to talavera. You will discover all of what Mexican artisans have to offer, and why they are considered among the best artisans worldwide.

Mexico is famous for its silver, and you will have a chance to see and learn about it at your next stop. You will visit a silver store that has its own workshop, where you will learn about the silver artistic works, and opals that are found only in Africa and Mexico. Time for shopping is included.

Arrive at a riverfront restaurant called Encanto del Rio, where you will enjoy a delicious Mexican Lunch prepared by regional top chefs.

You will have the opportunity to taste the best and exclusive Tequila blanco, reposado, and anejo. Additionally, you can try some of the exotic tequila liquor flavors and purchase some if you wish!

Your tour ends with a ride back into town.

Too much driving on Puerto Vallarta tour
March 15, 2020
This tour was advertised to be pretty good but there was so much driving to get to the locations on the tour that it took away from our experiences on the tour. Going to the water front, cathedral, a silver smith and a Tequila producer were great, but we could have walked from one to the other and saved time. Then the long drive back and forth to a restaurant way out of time was a waste of time. We were supposed to have lunch proved by some the best chefs in town but that obviously wasn't the case. We could have had lunch in town by the water front and enjoyed it instead of being rushed due to the long drive.

Transportation was a van which was too small for our group! One couple actually go off before start. Tour guide was “ok”, new the history and culture of Mexico. Tour stops: Boardwalk and Church- nice views, nothing special, crowded area and church was impressive, great. Tequila stop-Very good, informative and fun, Sliver stop- nothing, too expand commercial. Lunch- Ride to restaurant was too long (approx. 30 min.) Restaurant was very nice, great views and food selection was varied and very good. Not your problem, but the terminal was horrendous, safety lines too long and route through terminal was too long and simply terrible.
