Jewels of Dominica
Journey to a natural wonder and a filming location featured in Pirates of the Caribbean 2. From the parking lot, a 5-10 minute walk leads us to Titou Gorge. To experience the gorge fully, you'll take a brief swim (approximately 2 minutes) through a cave-like area (without swimming underwater). The swim covers approximately 100 feet, with the water reaching a depth of about 10 feet at its deepest point. However, once you reach the middle of the cave-like area, the water level is only about waist-high. There is a small waterfall that visitors can swim to, provided that the water flow is not too strong. During the excursion, you'll also have the option to climb a 5-foot waterfall to reach another waterfall. We provide swim belts to all of our guests for added safety during the swim.
Next we proceed to the Trafalgar Falls, where you'll be treated to the sight of the twin falls: the Father Falls, standing at 125 feet, and the Mother Falls, at 75 feet in height. Walking up to the Falls vantage point is a short ten-minute stroll through the rain forest canopy. The two magnificent falls are located here. Afterward, we will descend to a lower area where you can swim in the falls' refreshing cold water or the warm volcanic mineral water.
You'll then visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Established in 1889 to assist farmers in growing seedlings, the Botanical Gardens showcase a diverse range of native flowers, plants, and trees. A cricket match or another cultural event might be in progress if you're lucky. The last stop is a panoramic view of the city will be done at Morne Bruce.
This sun-drenched Roseau trip comes with transportation, beer, and water. These sites are a must-see while in Dominica. Reserve your spot today for an incredible experience.
