As the original electric bike tour in Southeast Alaska, we're excited to welcome you on a relaxed and enjoyable ride along the 'road to nowhere.' This scenic route end at the edge of the breathtaking Tongass National Forest, where your adventure continues with a guided, educational hike on a well-maintained trail beside an active salmon spawning stream.
Along the hike, you'll encounter a beautiful waterfall and stunning beach views, with opportunities to spot intertidal creatures, black bears, and marine mammals such as whales and seals along the shoreline. The lush rainforest is the true highlight of this loop through the Tongass, showcasing vibrant vegetation and even seasonal wild berries.
Round-trip transportation is included from both the Downtown Cruise Docks and Ward Cove Dock. High-quality rain gear is available if needed. The tour features a 10-mile roundtrip e-bike ride, with a 1.25-mile hike woven into the middle of the journey. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 guests to ensure a personalized experience.
After your guided hike, you'll return to your e-bikes and cycle back to our marina, where smoked salmon, salmon dip, a variety of snacks (including vegan options), hot and cold beverages, and beautiful waterfront views await.
