Recommended Dress As you will be entering a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered. Sensible, flat-soled walking shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
Restrictions All guests must be able to ascend steps into the vehicle and walk approximately 1 to 2 miles over dirt, cobblestone, and uneven surfaces at a normal pace in order to cover all of the most important landmarks in Rome. Guests must be able to keep pace with the guide. There are steps at all locations visited on the tour and the tour is not wheelchair or walker accessible. Guests should be able to walk long distances and remain standing for long periods of time.

Liquids, gels, and sprays are prohibited inside the Colosseum and you must carry your photo ID at all times in order to ensure entry into the Colosseum. Colosseum security may refuse entry if guests are under the influence of alcohol or any substance that could impair the ability to safely and fully engage in the tour.

Along the way, watch the landscape transform from the flat Mediterranean coastline to the rolling farms and orchards that lead you into the legendary City of Seven Hills.

As you arrive in Rome, your journey through history begins at one of the world's most awe-inspiring landmarks - the Colosseum, the enduring symbol of Rome. Your guide will bring this ancient arena to life as you explore the site where gladiators once battled, wild beasts roared, and 50,000 spectators filled the stands. Just steps away, admire the Arch of Constantine, built in A.D. 312-315 to celebrate Rome's military triumphs.
