Exclusive Monte Carlo, Eze and La Turbie

Departing from the cruise pier in Villefranche with your driver / guide and a group of no more than 8 guests, you will drive to the hilltop medieval town of Eze, which is an approximately 30 minute drive away. During the drive, your driver / guide will point out what you are seeing. A stop will be made to take photos of this charming village clinging to the cliffside with its magnificent views overlooking the French Riviera. There will also be approximately 30 minutes for those brave enough to make the climb.

A stop will be made to visit the nearby perfume factory Fragonard, which has been producing scents for more than 3 generations.

A scenic drive will be taken through the hillside village of La Turbie, with its Trophy of the Alps, and scenic landscape.

Then drive to the luxurious principality of Monaco, where you will drive directly to the old town and enjoy an exterior visit to the royal Prince Palace, before walking to the Cathedral, where you will have an Interior visit. You will then drive to the casino square, where you will have a brief stop for photos of the exterior of the casino and enjoy time to view the gardens. This will be followed with a drive along a portion of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix circuit, before following the coast road back to the pier area.

Great excursion

Zara did a great job. She knew her stuff and, in spite of the rain, stepped up to the plate and did a great job. Informative and fun.

Great day!
August 29, 2019
Our driver was knowledgeable about the area and was an enjoyable conversationalist. I would've liked a little more exploring time in some of the places - but overall it was sufficient. Also - the "perfume factory" was actually the cosmetics and soap factory of a perfumer -- I felt that was a bit misleading and a little bit of a bummer for me though I like that stop as well for what it was.

Worth the Time
June 21, 2019
The tour guide arrived on time and got us back to the ship on time. He dropped us off and set a meeting point and was there on time as well. He was very informative but most of the time we walked around ourselves to the historic landmarks. Good day but wish we had more time.

Day in the French Riviera
June 21, 2019
We enjoyed this excursion and our guide. It was a small group: 6 people. So that was nice. The scenery was beautiful. Stopped at a perfumery which I wasn't expecting and purchased some souvenirs. Saw the changing of the guard at Monaco, and the road of the Grand Prix. It was a lot of walking for my 75 year old mom, but much of it was at our own pace so it worked out. It was cheaper than the excursion offered on our ship and we saw and did more.
