World Famous Conch Train Tour
Your Key West day trip begins at Mallory Square, which was the traditional hub of industry for two centuries and is now the center for visitor activities. The historic Conch Tour Train tour is 90 minutes long, making one full loop through Old Town Key West. During the tour, you'll make four fun stops and experience a variety of sights, stories and entertainment. Hop on and off to explore the attractions that interest you on this flexible tour on the charming Conch Train.
Stop along Front Street, close to the Key West Shipwreck Treasures Museum and the Key West Aquarium, Truman's Little White House, themed retail shops, and the best conch fritters on the island. Sloppy Joe's, Ernest Hemingway's favorite bar, is also nearby, so you can grab a cold one after the tour.
Then you'll make a stop at the Conch Tour Train Station, where you can buy souvenirs at the gift shop for your memorable tour around Key West. Hop off here to explore Duval Street, a lively street full of interesting shops and people. You never know what you'll see here!
Next, stop at Truval Village. Here, you'll find yourself just steps away from the Southernmost Point in the continental United States as well as South Beach, one of the best beaches in town! Other highlights here include the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, the Hemingway Home and Museum, the Sails to Rails Museum (free admission), the Key West Lighthouse and the many art galleries that are found on upper Duval Street. Hop back on the train to go toward the Historic Seaport district, where you'll find the Flagler Railway Museum dedicated to Henry Flagler as well as the famous railroad that connected Key West to the mainland of Florida.
