Grand Island Speedboat and Snorkel

Start your 6-hour scenic adventure directly from Dock Maarten Chesterfield Wharf, as you climb aboard your speedboat and make your way to Simpson Bay Bridge on the Dutch side of the island. There, you will see yachts and villas on display in the Caribbean's largest lagoon. Along the way you will enjoy unlimited beverages as you relax and take in the picturesque scenery.

First a little sightseeing in the Simpson Bay Lagoon the largest saltwater lagoon in the Caribbean which is also the temporary home of the million-dollar Mega Yachts. Going under two bridges we headed up to Creole Rock for snorkeling. That amazing rock formation part of the French National Park is loaded with tropical fish and corals. Must-see snorkeling destination on the Island, you have a feeling here like in an Aquarium.

Your captain will make a quick stop at the unbelievably white beach of Tintamarre Island for some unforgettable swimming with sea turtles in the calm, turquoise waters of the marine reserve.

The second stop is Tintamarre Island where we are snorkeling with Turtles and enjoying what that gorgeous uninhabited island has to offer. Then we cruise over for our next stop to Pinel Island for Beach time and/or check out and feed the iguanas. GRAND CASE is the fourth stop for lunch just about 5 minutes from Creole Rock, the cuisine capital on the French side waiting for you with a very tasty BBQ lunch included in the price.

When we finished our lunch, Long Bay, the fifth stop is waiting for us for more relaxation. Here we will introduce you to our unique floating bar time or just relax on the white sand beach and work on your tan. Of course, on a way back we stop at the Airport beach where you can experience how's when a plane lands above your head. We will be back at Philipsburg at 3:45pm.

Please Note: The marine park fee of $6 USD per person is not included in the price of your tour and is payable to the venue on the day of the tour. Please note, only cash is accepted.

Speedboat with Capt. Sammy was awesome!

We had 13 people on our speedboat along with Captain Sammy and some rum punch. What a blast. We snorkled, we saw turtles, we walked on pristine beaches, ate a fabulous lunch, had awesome tunes and by the end of the trip 13 new best friends. Great job Capt. Sammy - highly recommend!!

Speedboat & Snorkel Review - St. Maarten
March 09, 2020
Captain supplied us with a full day of activity in spite of one couple being late over a half hour. The speedboat was capable of getting us to and from our various destinations quickly which allowed us maximum time to enjoy. This was an excellent excursion and would recommend it to others.

I brought my 2 teenagers and we enjoyed this excursion very much. The first mate was wonderful and made sure we had everything we need. Unfortunately we didn't see much while snorkeling but still really enjoyed it. Restaurant was good.

Fun and Exciting experience
January 15, 2020
It started off with a calm and quiet ride through the French side of the island. Followed by some snorkeling which was pretty good. Dropped anchor once for lunch (provided) and then for a drink at a cool beach. They ride back was an adventure! Very choppy seas made for a fast and bumpy ride back to the Dutch side. The adrenaline pumping adventure is one the family will be talking about for years. Fortunately, there were plenty adult beverages to go around...
