Most of us have heard of the land where Puff the Magic Dragon frolicked, and of the famous "Hana Highway." This Hana Highway Adventure excursion shows you the enchanting side of Maui, taking you along this spectacular, winding coastal road as your local guide adds even more color to the scenery with interesting stories and lively narration.
Take in the sights at the renowned Hana Bay itself, along with Maui's celebrated windsurfing beach, Ho'okipa. There's also a photo stop at the 122-acre Wainapanapa State Park, home to a beautiful black sand beach and native Hawaiian sea turtles.
Dramatic Keanae Lookout will also take your breath away, with superb views of the peninsula and taro fields. No tour of Maui would be complete without seeing its historical landmarks, waterfalls, and quaint little towns. Hana offers Maui visitors a place to relax and get away from it all. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour of Hana Town for approximately 15 minutes. This tour is indeed an adventure -- one you've imagined as a child, and now have the chance to really live as an adult.
Other sites you will see as you drive along include many astounding waterfalls, including Puuohokomoa, Wai Kani and Wailua Falls. A picnic lunch, including a sandwich, fruit, cookie and bottled water, is included, and time will be taken to eat it after the visit to Hana.
Please Note: The road to Hana is a winding road with numerous curves and bumps. Guests who are prone to motion sickness should not participate. Smoking is not permitted in the State Park.

The tour guide's accent at times make it difficult to understand him. However, he made SIGNIFICANTLY more effort to enhance our tour than any other of your guides. For example, he included local several different Hawaii fruits for our tasting, examples of plants and flowers that were passed around the van and examples of different rocks to be found in the area. There were other tour guides on this trip that could be best described as bus drivers. This man was a tour guide!
