Sightseeing has never been so convenient. This Bergen bus tour is ideal for visitors who want to see the city on their own schedule. Ride in style and hop off at any of the bus stops on the route to see all the best sights and attractions that Bergen has to offer. Hop back on when you're ready to continue your tour of Bergen. Each distinctive red bus has a friendly staff and includes a multi-lingual commentary or live guide.

Enjoy 360 degree views of the city from the top deck of an open top bus. At each stop, you have the opportunity to hop off and explore by foot for a while, then hop on and resume the tour at any time. Saunter down the famed Bryggen Wharf lined with 61 bright, vibrant wooden buildings that portray architecture dating back to the Hanseatic period. Be sure to admire this series of structures, all of which bear a UNESCO title, as they stand as ancient relics of Norway's fascinating past.

Check out the day's catch over at the Fish Market, and tune in to local vendors as they entice you with prices over tuna, salmon, and other sea-eats. Or, hop off around the Funicular and board the tram for a ride up Floyen, one of several striking mountains nestled against the city. Be sure to have your camera ready for once-in-a-lifetime pictures. Other stops include the Aquarium, the Hanseatic Museum, St. Mary's Church, the Flower Market, the Fortress, and the Tourist Information Center, which is located at a historic site.

We used the Hop-on Highlights Tour in two European cities. The buses were never crowded and always easy to spot. This was a great way to tour the city.

Bergen is a small city, so suitable for walking. However if time is short, or there is inclement weather, this is a nice, easy way to see Bergen.

Great way to get around a city. We left it a bit late to catch the last bus so had to cab it back to the shuttle to the ship. Free wifi which was great was quite pricey on the ship.
