Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this beautiful area in the Caribbean, is set on a 170-acre peninsula. It is located on the northwest side of St. John, making it a unique ecological zone and a perfect area to explore out in nature.

Your adventure begins with you hopping in your taxi shuttle from Cruz Bay to the iconic Honeymoon Beach. From there, you will board your kayaks and paddle across Caneel Bay to the beautiful and deserted Scott Beach. Located on the island's north shore, Scott Beach features a shallow, sandy coast with seagrass, typically teeming with turtles and rays.

One of the many beautiful things of exploring this area is seeing the local sea turtles, whose population has increased tremendously. It is common to see as many as two to twelve different turtles in the bay. As you snorkel in the waters, watch the sea turtles' surface to breathe and then dive back down in the shallow waters to graze among the seagrass. Don't be surprised if you are one of the lucky ones to spot dolphins while paddling across the bay.

As your day of exploring this rich natural landscape comes to an end, paddle back to Honeymoon Beach where you can choose to stay and relax, do some more snorkeling, or visit Bikinis on the Beach Bar and Grill for some food and drinks.
